Southerners expect a very noisy night as all of this moves north.

Let’s hope that the school have to lemon due to, ‘staff and pupils couldn’t sleep due to excessive banging throughout the night’ like they do with snow, less than 2cm of snow and the schools are closed for a week

Might get lucky as this thing is now developing on its eastern side and looks to have started to curve eastwards

Are you under persistent light rain in Eastbourne? Or is the radar showing a false return...

Can see the shelf cloud but the lightning is too far away from it to illuminate it.

I hope you are getting some footage EE🙂

Not really anything as of yet, apart from a slightly missed weak CG and some illuminations of flashes. Looks like the real stuff is to my SW.

That was a cracking little storm! Had lots rain today, which has filled the pond up nicely. Cannot grumble at some nighttime action. 🙏😍

I love your optimism!

Personally I think it's a case of renting a yacht and heading out into the N Sea...

Keep the faith bud. Some cells firing off over Peterborough now.
