Any idea when the real strong winds will start hitting Devon? I've noticed they're getting up a little now the eye's passed. Just wondering if I should sleep till 8am, or if I should stay up (if it hits at 5-6)

Man, wind just gusted and took out  my virgin for a few mins, don't quite know how that works, its underground, perhaps it pushed the cable going up the house a bit or something.

You keep a virgin underground? Sounds neat! Has he regained conscience yet?

You confirmed it !! Actually dead centre is just off the point of land between Cornwall and Devon, what's that called?

Winds won't suddenly rise to enormous speeds over east Cornwall and Devon after low passes, expect N 30-50 then NNW backing to WNW 50-70 (km/hr, to sunrise and WNW to NW 70-110 sunrise to noon, (a faster increase likely for west Cornwall, to 100-140 in exposed locations) ... the strongest winds otherwise are rotating around the low to slam into southeast England, or let's say inland areas as coast already being rocked as per reports here).

This low (Ciaran) is linked back to the old parent low (n.w. Ireland) and it's an axis of weaker winds extending NW that is being dragged along for the ride towards Somerset and Dorset, same general idea for those counties.

Slam southeast ;-; sir what do you mean , I like My home 😂 and like I said on slight breezy days locally It's fine but at my house it's a kission to open and shut the door hwxause it's always more windy here due to the field , but I do think it's going to hit deeper into south east as it keeps rotating north and south east at rhe same time
