Heavy snow at the moment, about an inch deep, steady ride to work ahead 🚘🥶❄️

Looks like ya might get a dusting, If I was you I'd head out to whitby or Scarbrough

In Driffield atm might’ve been a bad idea full on snow everywhere haha

Got down to -4 here and -3 currently as expected nothing has made it this side of the Humber. Band coming down coast seems to weaken before it gets here. Nice to hear East Yorkshire having a share though.

Yes, a very pretty outlook….glad I don’t need to be anywhere today. Just working from home, setting up a new computer! Take care if you’re out in it 🤞🏼

You called it pretty well, got a good hit.

Probably be best heading home if ya can't be assed driving anywhere. I think maybe one more decent hit around Whitby soon then it will start to ease off.

Navigated the first hill out of the village with a bit of a run up...

The second little hill up to the 'main' road, no run up, so crawled up that ❄️

Can’t believe you chose that way! The road that space, time & weather forgot? It never thaws once it’s on that road! You just like the challenge 😆

Some good heavy snow showers all the way down to the Humber and surprisingly far inland.
Got a nice dusting in North Newbald

1st pic is our alleged 'main' road 😂

2nd pic is looking down towards Burton Agnes, went the slightly longer way round...

Bitterly cold few days followed by a storm over the weekend. Least it's interesting weather - nothing worse than grey nothingness for days on end.

The next chase begins towards the end of next week. Looks promising despite the endless references to 'Iberian Heights' in the main model thread which is definitely this years phrase to wind up cold lovers and rolled out like a harbinger of doom.

This much snow at Fyl! Thought we'd get a bit more tbh but not complaining.

As I thought .. the Wind warning for Sunday and Monday
has been updated to cover over to the East now.
Current forecasts suggest gusts up to the mid 60's mph  in my
area of East Yorks.

Snow pictures this lunchtime, you can see the showers out to sea. Bike has been in hibernation this week replaced by walks

Lovely to see some snow pics! Enjoy it those that have it.

Such a cold night, half of the garden pond is iced over today, poor fish 🤣

Absolutely dreading the wind! It destroyed my garden archway and my greenhouse last time, huge birch tree in the garden too so i panic about that when its super windy 😣

More fool anyone wasting their time chasing cold/snowy weather in this country tbh. Getting a plane to Sweden is probably a better idea!

Agreed, hate the wind. A huge tree on my road came down last time, almost destroying a house, blocking off the road and destroying an old stone wall. The wind can bugger off.
