Looks like storms on the cards again been a nice break from all the rain even in the cold you can still get jobs done outside and tidy up a little and get some much needed sunshine !  Shame it’s all going out with a wind storm 😢

Snow pictures this lunchtime, you can see the showers out to sea. Bike has been in hibernation this week replaced by walks

Nice pics from earlier in the coast, thanks for sharing everyone 🌨️☺️

Yeah I'm not looking forward to more wind either, it's horrible! Let's hope this zonal spell is short lived 🤞

Temps got up to 2.3c here today, despite same conditions as yesterday it seems, and starting from lower - shame no ice day.

I had snow today, out of a blue sky at least 2 dozen flakes!

That after my coldest night since 11 Feb 2012

Quite overcome with it all!

Loved the snow photos, especially the dog playing in the snow; I wonder why almost all dogs seem to enjoy snow

A few random snow showers have been coming through Lancs/Greater Manchester to parts of West Yorkshire overnight. They weren’t forecast at all?

Suprising though it is, we have our 5th snow upon which snow has fallen this winter and 7th which has seen lying snow too albeit its thin.

Nice little surprise this morning across Calderdale. Something like this was modelled a week ago but then dropped seemingly never to return.

Similar here. An interesting change through the day, almost felt like a change from Winter to Spring in a single day.

A very cold start again this morning with temperatures around -1C at 7-8am, with light snow that briefly settled around 9-10am. By lunchtime the snow was gone, and it was noticeably warmer. Temperatures peaked around 5C.

A very windy start to the day, the rain is weakening as it comes against the pennines…imagine the pennines being 1500m high instead of 500m (around west yorks) and the rain shadow we would get on the eastern side. Still only 2.7c…the dog enjoyed her walk and i was happy to keep fairly dry!

Yes it seems to take a monumental effort to get anything in terms of snowfall around the Humber, low ground near the warmish North Sea our only hope is a very potent sustained Northerly or -10 uppers from the East, neither of those are common or likely in the next few weeks.

Max gust of 48mph overnight which was a bit unexpected. Moderate breeze making it feel chilly. Actually found a little snow to walk in in Ecclesall woods. So interest now on tomorrow night into Tuesday although local forecast has that now into Wednesday.

Still feeling bitterly cold here with quite a strong wind. Lots of ice still around as well especially on the pavements.

As forcast a mild evening, in contrast to the previous week which makes it more noticeable. Ruddy breezy out, feels like the warm up act for tomorrow night's main event, looking at the latest charts it going to be a rough ride tomorrow night...
