 WillinGlossop picturesque.

Very different from New Years Eve when absolutely lashed ot down.

I've jet washed the front path and the Galaxy. Washing dry and the new bbq has arrived.

To knackered to assemble it.

Rush2019 it worked. It's improved greatly now with strong sun and it's now 18.2°C.

Considering what we've had for months, this feels glorious at 18c.

I’ve already lit the bbq at least 20 times this year.  What’s everyone waiting for? 25°C and wall-to-wall sunshine? 😂

Fire them up and get grilling!

A nice enough day with some hazy sunshine but that wind sure has been blustery at times. Looks like the first "high" UV on Thursday according to the Met. With slightly lighter winds I think people might be caught out without skin protection.

Well no can accuse April of peaking too soon this year.

last day of the month and right at the death it redeemed itself although not enough to be filed anywhere other than in the awful category.

Back from the slumber past few months.  My rate of the recent Winter is 5/10. Finally we are having warm weather, I hope this year's Summer will bring lively thunderstorms.

On the cusp of the best period of the year here in the Lake District, the glorious month of May arrives tomorrow! How different things feel right now compared to opposite end of the year when the clocks go back and November looms!

A warm feeling day despite no sunshine, light winds, a slight mugginess. Temps max 16.5 degrees, not bad at all.

May looks like starting on a fairly mixed note but decent spells of warm sunshine on the way, Thursday looks a cracker for the region, bank holiday weekend too early to call, but likely very mixed, and temps around or a bit above.

Just can't seem to be totally rid of chilly air and some unsettled stuff. Okay it's the GFS but even so, never seem to be cold magnet like this in Winter do we???

A bit of a murky start up here but hopefully it will clear with another lovely few hours following.

forecast is looking promising.

Morning.  Fantastic tangerine sky earlier as the sun rose.  Bit wet on the ground, had rain last night, 9°C currently.  Bulk of the day looking fine.  Chance of showers for some parts later today.

WillinGlossop   UKV still has tomorrow as the warmer day, a good few areas 20°C.  Without too much cloud cover and the suns strength it could reach 21°C.  Rostherne yesterday maxed at 19.1°C .  As you have noticed, that cold gusty wind has dropped.

UKV about 2pm tomorrow.

Milky blue skies and almost no wind.

I'll give it another day and threaten the grass with a cut.
