    Torro's forecast re maybe no storms in SE England is out of the water too! lol Can anyone suggest why the storms around Manchester etc became lively and then died a death?

    That Bournemouth storm looks amazing but it doesn't seem to have a massive rainfall rate as opposed to the size of storm etc - is this because it is elevated? Sorry still learning thought I would ask...

    Thanks for filming this it came right over the area around midnight last night - monsoon like rain and sky was like a disco. It's great to see what it actually looked like in the cold light of day/night lol

    Yup I was without power for 5 hours yesterday but I would do it all again to see what I seen - never ever seen golf ball sized hall almost chunks of ice falling from the sky was amazing but you are right can be very dangerous.

    Wind has really starting picking up ahead of these storms is that normal when they aint here yet?

    Lightning more frequent here now and thunder - Nick F you wouldnt happen to have an up to date radar grab would you? Raintoday is 15 mins behind - I am going to subscribe to Netweather tomorrow.

    Sounds perfect - I can hear something to my south west now also so maybe it's that rolling in and flashes and rumbles to the north east where the coast is - can honestly say it has been one of the most active days in this region since I can remember!

    Lightning to my NE now (I am in C/Durham) so this is from the east coast and Newcastle storms - they have initiated from nowhere tonight!

    There are 2 big white blobs to that storm headed this way now - some very intense radar returns for rainfall or hail maybe?

    Thunder heard and flickers of lightning to my south - no way can this be the Leeds one it must be the one on the east coast?
