Tommorow is interesting it is unfortunate concerning the timing I expect cold rain in London however the downs might get pounded hard with the White stuff. It would not surprise me.
Okay we get the point, no need to bring it up any further.
Look at the models and decide for yourself whether something holds truth or not no need to target certain folk a gut feeling is just that is it not?
Settle down... Ta
I would not say that to be truthful clearly GFS overestimated the wind speeds in hindsight I'd should have stuck to the high res models like the ARPEGE a short strong burst of wind just now.
*wrong quote sorry
This is what the GFS 6z has for me:
IMBY gusts in the mid to high 60's are highly unusual being not far from the city of London. It does dwarf anything I've seen for a number of years.....therefore it is notable.
Well we need to be careful of those rouge powerful gusts...as for Midnight GFS has only gusts in low 50's for Dover. I'm not sure about anyone else but I'm sensing this may be more worse than feared.
Croydon Council are on RED ALERT due to the latest update from the MetO (60 - 70 mph wind gusts) (Heavy rain) (Flash Flooding & Structural damage) - Yamkin
Bleeding heck a good run who cares about not having a prolonged cold spell several snow events will suffice nothing worse than a lengthy dry spell of very cold weather.
