    The Theta-E charts would indicate this high on GFS 6z would be a frosty one, so at least some seasonal, sunny weather would be nice if we can't have snow on the run up to Xmas.

    Exactly. If nothing else is achieved in this spell, then cooling the ground significantly would be a huge benefit.

    A quick perusal of the GEFS at 192hrs shows a fair few going for renewed blocking and easterly winds. It’s not over yet!

    Same, not sure what the problem is with this run. Still full of promise ahead.

    It’s only a matter of time before one of the runs pulls out a rip-snorter of an easterly imo. It’s an extremely complicated setup which will take a while to get to grips with.
