  1. Right, im off out, if I don't see you all later.. Good luck everybody Temp is 0.3c with a dew of -5 here so... BRING IT ON!!!
  2. Fawkin ell! :w00t: Going with the trouble and strife to try and get a new phone in about an hour, hopefully we will get back to her place before it starts chucking it down with SNOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW!
  3. Is it just me or is the band about 2-3 hours ahead of schedule?
  4. I've been with her since October and she doesn't even know i'm interested in the Weather I've kept it very much under wraps! I did mention I could read Weather models but she has no idea of my snow addiction! I might go to the loo a few times during the evening and come online on my phone to leave a post or 2 and check the radar Fingers crossed I get away with it!
  5. Check the old thread, an upgrade on the 06z NAE! I'm going to be staying at my girlfriend's house tonight so I might not be able to radar watch  I love her to bits but tonight I kinda wish I was staying here so I could radar watch and lamp post watch like the sad man I am :winky: Her location is 94m ASL and mine is 75m ASL, could that extra 20 metres make all the difference? Nah probably not, but the higher you are the better chance you will have of it staying as snow!
  6. Hi Andy. What sort of height elevation does Leicester have? Or is it too low to be a factor in most events? Bish Hi Bish, well areas around the City Centre vary from 50m ASL to around 120m ASL, where I live is 75m ASL, so it is classed as low ground. Like This
  7. Awesome! The lowest recorded at my location since the Weather station has been up was -10.4 at 8:33am on Christmas day 2010 haha. Still -4.0c here at 9:45am! With a dew of -7.4c. Obviously as the PPN hits I expect temps to be around 0c and dew around -2 but I think a ground temp of -4c at around 10am with the sun shining is a very impressive feat for low ground in the Midlands with no snow cover.
  8. *Dances around like Michael Jackson on acid* An UPGRADE for the MIDLANDS with 12 hours to go before the event?! That's rarer than an Emile Heskey goal for England!
  9. I seriously doubt it dude! You could play footy on it but you'd be better wearing trainers/moulds than studs, I doubt the ref would allow the match to go on though, the ground will definitely be frozen over all day in my opinion.
  10. Gahhh, fair enough Well I got your back son. It's absolutely taters out there at the moment, -3.3c with a dew of -7.7c, why can't the PPN turn up now? Would be no danger of it being borderline
  11. AJ, I know you deleted it in the interests of keeping the peace and i'm all for that. I do think though that you shouldn't have had to delete it because it was light hearted and I didn't for one second take it seriously. I often come out with things like.. "If this snow event goes wrong now with 2-3 days to go.. I'll shoot someone/jump out the window/top myself etc... Doesn't mean I actually would of course  It's just iight hearted and a joke. Just because say... 2 people took it seriously out of 100 people, doesn't mean you should have to back down to them =\
  12. Could well be the funniest post of 2012 already and we are only 2 months in! 2-4 inches is a bloody good depth for ANY low ground location in England.
  13. Are they?! I didn't see it? If they are then they seriously need to lighten up.
  14. The jokes get even better tonight folks, just seen an absolute humdinger of a post on the South East thread... DAVEY1980 Members 27 posts Posted 5 minutes ago Still predicted to be 2-4 inches on the forecast. Hardly worth the excitement. I guess it will be very light in general
  15. See this is what I love about this thread, in the last hour I have just had a scrap with AJ (all in good spirits of course :w00t: ) Strider comes up with a great gag and then AJ follows it up with an amazing post  Midlands = best regional thread, period.
  16. I'll go tete a tete with ya pal :winky: *slicks hair back and tapes hands up* :w00t:
  17. The M1 is 1 mile to my West I'd laugh if it really did come down to which side of the M1 you are!
  18. Yet i'm getting shot down for suggesting the FAX charts, UKMO and BBC may not be right this time either...
  19. This one is me on Sunday when the rain has washed the snow away...
  20. Everything is about the same as it was earlier, you still look to be in the sweet spot.
  21. I know, i'm sorry mate but it could be a similiar situation could it not?
  22. *Sigh* I guess i'll have to post this screenshot for the 10th time to prove my point.. That event turned out to be all rain apart from the Pennines, so I wouldn't trust anything they say.
