  1. Yes and again the subtle change is the removal of the word hills. Now it’s just saying north. Slight change but a definite upgrade
  2. Enough now. What I want to know is when is Nick Sussex going to get his crayons out on the 18z. I want to know which shortwave can ruin everything, when, why and how. Until then I’m reigning in my excitement. (just kidding I’ve just bought a sledge)
  3. As ever you need to pick out certain slight changes. Today the important change is the use of the word ‘particularly’ in regards to snow over northern hills. That’s been added today, and to me increases the possibility of lowland snow
  4. Yes my eyes are burning after looking at that. There’s definitely been a movement towards this type of pattern over the last 24 hours. What a shame
  5. So while the models improve the MO have moved away from it. Disappointing update today mate
  6. So just as the models start showing interest the MO go the other way. Very disappointing update.
  7. Yes the wait continues. Nothing at the moment to get excited about in the models. Can the ECM produce some interest? And btw I see the MO as a downgrade from yesterday too. And looking through the GFS ensembles at 384hrs there’s only 3 that show any interest. I love cold and snow but it looks like a long chase at the moment
  8. A couple of places in Portugal are forecast 47c tomorrow so it’s still possible. Athens at 48c bang on is the record
  9. Is there a temperature map for that, like the ones that get posted for the normal GFS? Would be fun viewing. I had a quick look but couldn't find one
  10. Just for fun what sort of temps would the 24 area bring at ground level? 40/41/42????
