theres no escaping, and no quick route back to high pressure before the 10th... according to these charts NOAA 1st - 7th, ECM 3rd - 10th

height of the season over the next couple of weeks ... despite many clear nights zero evening displays... and we look like being plagued with cloud now...

Anomalies are.. thats why i use them.. more consistency and more accuracy at that timeframe... The EPS first picked out an unsettled start to July last saturday... and its highly likely to be bang on. Thats impressive, a 14 day chart becoming reality... The latest, just rolled out, supports the ECM Anomalies posted above in suggesting the unsettled spell is only a short lived afair, and by the end of week 1 in July, high pressure starts to re-establish as the main driver returning us to more summery weather. Warmer, drier, sunnier...

Clouds on webcams, clouds here in derby... get some sleep.. I got some decent ones, only a couple but it was worth it

Tbh.. so what anyway.. what russia gets has no bearing on what we do. I chose a bottle of red over staying sober, whixh i need to be to go out to a vantage point. Im very disheartened with this season.. june 22 no evening displays..

Its daft, it might be the pub run here in the UK (i believe its released here when the pubs turn out), but its American, and for them its late afternoon...

True... but im running the sequence and the height anomaly is growing as the low fills... to me that says its heading towards high pressure building/low pressure diminishing.... assuming of course, that this chart verifies!

Yeah, they are the charts i use, i hadnt noticed the new version was daily tbh. But im not convinced by these charts.. they recently didnt "see" the troughing coming, i take them with a pinch of salt.. Meanwhile the EPS which has been consistent, carries on with its prediction of "that" trough lifting out and high pressure building back in by the end of week 1 in july.

i see nothing there... im not subscribed to nwx though ahh..found it elsewhere... but they are very inconsistent, so are not much use?
