  1. Temps are 25-28C In Shropshire at the moment, so certainly possible
  2. For those feeling downhearted, check out this video from Ireland in last few mins
  3. The fact there are sferics over southern ireland is a healthy sign. I wouldn't be too discouraged yet..
  4. The convergence zone around Brecon/Hereford/Glouc zone about 5pm looks to be the area that might spark off showers.
  5. Can smell rain, there seems to be a small patch of rain on the radar about 20 miles to my West. (photo taken in that direction)
  6. Oddly can see less now than hour ago, the cloud is masking it and its getting light
  7. Wow have never seen this before , clear sky, stars but bright flashes to south. I am in knighton a good 80 miles north from swansea and longer still from cornwall
  8. Radar return near Merthyr south wales. Expect popcorn cells now to fire off as things destablise.
  9. Yes looks a bit stormy looking toward the Clee. Some outflow features near Knighton in the last hour.
  10. Nick, it seems to be clearing up here on the Welsh borders, rain has stopped, sun trying to break through. So hopefully this could help trigger.
  11. Looks like the uplift over the Welsh hills is starting to sparks off showers
  12. Yes west wales starting to pep up now, it's within 60 miles range of me, so worth a walk outside to see if I can see anything from my hill.
  13. I'd ignore that it's just moisture in the air, it's the red achoes out to the SW of Wales that are exploding into life currently.
  14. I'd say that is pretty much spot on and I am 38 Good job, the next few hours will see ........
  15. Wouldnt be surprised if the first flashes of lightning start occuring soon.
  16. Wind is starting to drop which is a good sign, and mid level cloud looks more constructive.
