I prefer metoffice's forecasts to netweather's. It says I only have a 50% chance of snow, yet bang in the middle of it. Hmmm.

The Net Weather forecast is based on the latest GFS model run, which is usually accurate.. However this time I think the Met Office will be right for the West Midlands <_<

yes see what you are saying mituozo but it was weird today sun was out yet slow thaw yesterday continuous snow with fast thaw so the air was i think colder today we also had 3 inches of snow overnight im fully expecting to find the snow gone by tomorrow when the mild air comes through but this winter has slung in many against the norm surprises so we shall see only downside football training cancelled lol

80m ASL.

Wow so you did really well in relation to the amount of snow you had on monday! I think you were one of the worst hit in the Midlands!

We are in the best place for the Snow tomorrow and you say that!

Dont worry, it will be fine!

For once Blizzards I agree with you. Your area is without a shadow of a doubt in the firing line tomorrow AM. Enjoy it

Allright mate, whats your height above sea level?

103m asl, but stafford town centre 80m asl, no snow there now at all, 23m makes a heck of a difference sometimes

I know! I was very lucky because we seemed to get the heavier stuff from that band that come up from the South East in the afternoon and then during the evening we was in a line of precip that was slow moving and gave about 2-3 hours of light snow from it after the heavier snow in the afternoon.

I always thought Leicester was higher than Northampton.

128 ASL here.

It is in some parts. Leicester City Centre about 60m ASL, I live 3 miles South West of the city which is 80m ASL but some parts of Leicester like Coalville are 150-200m ASL.
