Really? we had snow all day monday then snow thursday and today! We have had snow on the ground all week.

We have quite a few inches of snow still around with verlanium park/lake having a lot still there with the lake already frozen.

Don't forget to take into account your favoured westerly position! Since monday everything's been passing to the west and north of us...except the current streamer which is going to the south and east!

What I have found in recent years is that my neck of the woods in Shirley, Croydon is usually colder as it is away from the main Croydon centre.

Could be, Shirley's not far from me either, though you may be higher up.

Shouldnt complain, we did very well on Monday.

Kent is more than just Maidstone though. Temperatures will drop of widely over Kent as the night progresses. Patience Grasshopper!

Still snowing heavily in Biggin Hill...must be 6/7cm's by now. Such a bonus after Monday's event; this is what winters should be like and then we'd be prepared - really enjoying it (but wish hubby was home).
