LOL indeed. And I'm sure you won't be complaining either :)

I work for a transport company, so if northants gets cut off :) i'll have my feet up all week.

seriously, if we get that storm it could turn out to be frightening.

Just made a journey from Hagley to Oldbury. It was snowing in Hagley and as the journey progressed it gradually turned to wet snow. Shows how marginal it is under current conditions and how elevation can make a difference in the temperatures,

Correction - It was raining in Hagley and turned to wet snow over the journey.

Apologies

LMAO! ;)

I just hope the ECM is right, and the snow goes into Yorkshire, otherwise I may have to resort to witchcraft

Notice the Pennines eating up all the snow at the moment, keeping Yorkshire dry :)

OK that was a brave face,

Seriously though it is the North's turn, whilst I have done OK the NE is completely snow starved as the Midlands have been pasted time after time. I mean it's getting greedy now, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Not all of the midlands. Central and north Midlands (Brum and further north to Stoke) havnt had much at all.

Yes I agree, sadly some people (perhaps from Leicester) don't, and don't want to play nicely and share out the snow. Which spoils it for other members really.

Turning to wet snow now, moderate. 5th or so day with snow (probably more - it's all a blur and I can't really remember, it just seems that almost all ppt in the past week has been snow!)

Hills gradually disappearing so the snow level must be dropping.

I think you could be right. Just read this on another forum:

Tomorrow afternoon and night are the times to watch out for, especially North of the M4corridor, where severe blizzards are eminently possible. A Winter Storm will be moving in from the South and it is going to wreak havoc. Trust me on that.

I'd advise people living in the Midlands, for example, to leave work very early tomorrow. If possible before the snow starts.

...

An emphatic YES !!!

In fact I'd say that the East Mids could be the worst affected area.
