Hmm - certainly moved on through exceptionally fast - still raining overhead but the stronger cell was definitely moved past - still hear odd booms from it!

Probably what I've just seen - keep an eye on the leading edge, that was where the rotation was! The rotating base has a rotating vertical column behind too - assuming it's kept it's form of course...

Produced some great CG's - oooh, more thunder! :D

Those storms have now formed an intensified line - Tonbridge and Maidstone can't miss!!!???!!

Sorry MW - I know you are away, but if you are around TN9, you should be getting something!

Hi,

Nothing to report of so far from here (IP26), has been cloudy with the odd shower (light to moderate).

Hope we get some storms today. :D

How come the precip on the radar is coming from the West but these storms really appear as if they're coming from the S/W?

Looks incredible to the southeast, over London and Essex way. Really intensified as it went over me, seems to have formed a line. Looks fun! My eyes now turn to the mass of lightning strikes and rain over the Leicester area, hopefully they'll continue to intensify this afternoon!

Just caught up with the last 2 pages, read your last few posts Harry and it wouldn't surprise me if the cell we had 1 hour ago is over you right now, from what I saw from your pics, they were nearly identical to mine, and that did look like a clear wall cloud.

Saw rotation here as well.

I want more!!! Lol
