Nice line now running towards the SE out of the Midlands!

Looks like it cant possible miss London!! Though will probably fade into nothing, break right down the middle sending sferics N and S and leaving me merely damp, or....it will provides some nice downpours with thunder and lightning!

I know what I hope for, but which two are more likely B)

A bit off topic but can I ask what SACRA is? I've noticed a few people are members. Ive googled it but nothing comes up.

The Snow and Cold Rampers Association I believe...

Incredible rainfall here in Hastings between 4am and 745am this morning.

91mm was recorded by the borough meteorologist David Powell in that time.

105mm has been recorded locally.

Two lightning strikes, one blew the electrics in a St Leonards House, and one struck a local school forcing its closure.

This is the highest rainfall Hastings has recorded in 24 hrs since 1865, when records first started! ( and all this fell in under 4 hours )

Incredibly, under a mile away at the White Rock weather station, only 5mm fell.

The links show the scale of the flooding here.

Couple of huge CGs overhead in Tunbridge Wells with the thunder following mere seconds after! To think I spent hours chasing on Thursday night and this one's parked itself right on top of me!

It's getting dark again to my north, but the showers are once again weakening as they approach my area.

I think we could be heading for a funnel cloud, VERY gusty and as black as night, a few very big hailstones.

Shot over to the emly Moor mast.

today's main event for london and parts of the SE growing to the nw of the london area i reckon. should produce some sferics

I hope so londonsnow!

Can see a brilliant white anvil, with a very angry looking base to my NNW at the moment! I am hoping it comes this way, simply because I most be among a few small group of people in the SE today or yesterday not to hear any thunder let alone see lightning!! :)
