2nd Storm has just passed, not much in the way of T or L but still plenty of rain. It's backside is as rounded as Angelia Jolies :D Very Photographic. Another decent looking cell is just passing over although nothing heard yet.

Just got in from the school run. Got absolutley soaked from a very heavy thunder shower. About 7 strikes to go with it.

Boy did the sky look black as it approached

Hmmm i have my headphone on low as not to annoy friend who's visiting. Im pretty sure i keep hearling low growling thunder from somewhere, skies don't look all that dark at the moment and all we've had so far today has been a couple of medium showers :D

Nottingham going black-a-rooni again from NW, hopefully won't miss me this time (That Leicester storm had my name on it!!!!!! :D ) :D That was a beauty I must say! At least from the cloud perspective! With the sun out its making this new storm look power-black, please edge east a bit!!!!!!!!!!! Poopy Derby will be hit again!!! :D

Even though I've had no storm today, I am so enjoying this weather!!! Never seen such beautiful, magnificent CBs!!

Yes it was so dark at one point. I was in the car picking up my little brother from school and the car park was flooded. Several booms of thunder and flashes here too. Second storm of the day :D

Still there are more showers to the NW heading here. I don;t really know whether they will weaken/intensify before they get here. As long as they chuck out some lightning I don't mind :D

Just as I was thinking that the few rumbles I heard earlier was all that would happen, snap, an almighty flash of lightning followed by loud thunder lasting about 30 seconds. Woo! :D

The storm has pretty much cleared here, on its way south. Skies are starting to brighten up. Hopefully there will be more later :D

How can we have so many CB that are not producing? 2 solid days of one lot after another but very little action.... hold on a minute... distant rumble or is this due to the fact bin collection is tomorrow? its loud rumble yipeeee!!

Certainly a wild afternoon here with cracks of thunder.

Also a funnel nearly developed from cloud below as this was clearly rotating above me. :D

i cannot believe we are missing out seeing portsmouth with these storms is so frustrating grrr everything has gone round us

We keep having really torrential rain with the odd hail shower thrown in, only 1 distant rumble of thunder and no noticeable lightning here so far today.
