Got back from xmas shopping feeling down and broke, but Lifes worth living again, the forcast on netweather for my area says SNOW for monday :pardon:

I've been looking at the model thread but don't understand it.

Is is true, will it really happen. How much, how deep, do I need to find the shovel, should I make a sedge for my doggie to pull.

snow snow snow snow snow

It's good to see Sky News are forecasting SNOW for the E & SE on Monday. :cold:  :help::help::cold:

I'm sure BBC will follow suit soon.

Not true, ECM in the past has proven to be wrong, hopefully GFS will calm any fears of a massive downgrade

Don't know where that chart came from - it bears no resemblence to the current 850 mb charts and -28C at 850 mb will equate to an extremely low temperature at sea level, especially under a high pressure system where the gradient would not be that great, perhaps it is an ice age scenario.

I suspect it is wishful thinking on somebody's part

Well netweather went from a 62% chance of snow here on Monday yesterday to 15% showing this morning. But I'm glad to see the thrills haven't disappeared completely, just postponed as Thursday is showing as 100%!

Bring it on - 1700lts of oil came on Monday, 150kgs of coal just arrived this morning and one of the stables is groaning with last year's seasoned apple logs.

Do your worst Mother Nature !!

That's going to be a very odd looking sledge! I think you've perhaps misunderstood the concept of sledging dear, first find large hill (you've got a head start) you start at the top and head DOWN.

Who's ever heard of an oil fired sledge :cold:
