With the rate of flow I guess about -25c. For the more shallow and slow running parts nearer to -7c for several nights but daytime temperatures can rise above freezing as long as there's a good covering of ice on top.

Ok CET provisonal to the 8th December is 6.1c. Thats likely to rise to cira 6.5c by the 11th then down hill

People with real Ramp whats it going to be end of December ??

Say -3c daytime -12 night who is going to do the Maths ??

Im sorry I think people should be on the pavements its plain silly to walk on the roads in nasty weather.

Re the elderly Im sure most of the senior forecasters on here will be ok.

It's coming, passed the point of no return, its a question now of how deep the snow is going to be as opposed to will it hit the UK or not

Some lucky place is going to get at least 30in of lying snow without doubt, wish it was down here

I just can't wait until the Tabloids pick up on the possible "deep freeze"

As IMHO we are certain to get at least a week of "Arctic Britain"

Yes 2009/10 was a funny 'even larger teapot'

The CET value from 13 December 2009 to 28 February 2010 of -2.6c was unheard off

Who remembers that -27.2 c record going first in Scotland then in England in mid January.

42 consecutive days of 'working from home'

Anyway now its all over , why was it 'impossible' to get such a set up in a even larger teapot ?

Anyway did they finally dig those chaps out of the snow drift at that 'climate change thing' ? By then end it was so cold were some suggesting we start increasing CO2 emissions as fast as we can ? cold.gif

Could any body tell me if we will see any snow in Manchester. cheers

It rains in Manchester so yes I suggest you will see snow in Manchester if it gets colder, any particular month or year you have in mind ?

Well, when I have a Grimsby supporting housemate, what did you expect?

Now, watch what I do with these quotes...

Really? I was under the impression that nothing beginning with the letter S would win that match! :)

Your not the only one mate :)

Yep your right there :D Hopefully it will actually happen for a change

Yep, I certainly am right, not the only one, and it will actually happen!

To keep in touch with the thread...yeah, there's gonna be a ramp built to the Moon soon enough if half of these keep up...
