Hi. Live in town and its white over here. Lets hope it peps up tonight.

typical! Iv'e never seen snow like this! It's like dandruff blowing about! Just won't settle properly! The temp here is -2.1c though guess it's a bit milder in town giving you that better snow!

We shall see!

Up near the hospital, it's only a thin covering, on pavements and untreated roads. It's sheltered behind my house somewhat so it isn't blowing too much but it isn't accumulating very fast either. We seem to be in between a couple of nice bands at the moment. I have a feeling the Whitby road is probably a little dicey right about now!

Looking at latest Met Office radar and Whitby Northwards looking very good in next hour or so.

Nice and crisp underfoot here.. Just need that batch of showers to head a touch further south and still make it inland...

Its snowing here in hull, a lot of hail thrown in too, it's wild outside! :)

Everything is weakening around my area and there isn't a cloud in the sky. Will the shield be broken? :D

sorry about that, forgot to reduce them!

Good to see those pics mate. You've been rewarded for your patience :)

The showers keep on coming, one after the other, where I am. The little lad is going to be very excited when he wakes up. :D

Has anyone else noticed that the ppn at the bottom of the region associated with the front seems to moving north westwards towards my location very slowly, with other showers starting to come off the sea.

Ill give it another hour or so, and if it aint looking any better, i'll hit the deck.

Must say that Hull and the East Yorkshire area has once again "upto now" done very poorly.

Oh well, in this day and age i don't think it's a case of where you live lol.

Still confident we'll see something though.

Man, this is so tough - short light shower and it's clear again - radar offers some hope for later on, but it's a shame we don't have anyone posting from Holbeach or Spalding - they look well placed on the northern main snow band in the south east. It seems to be edging North East slightly too - if it hits Boston in the next half hour or so, then it might just be game on for my location.

Blizzard conditions here @ -2: we could end up with quite a few inches from this. Extreme wind and drifting

OMG we have just had the worst snow I have ever seen! 2cm in about 5min !

Sounds fantastic :whistling: I can't decide whether to go to bed or wait a bit longer.

Since it's not very often we get to do this, it's a hard decision.
