Guest North Sea Snow Convection

The showers are funneling south through the north sea but the radar clearly shows them steering SW'erds onshore and inland.

Fluffy Snow flakes just started to fall heresmile.gif

Think that might be it for most of Kent apart from a few isolated heavy flurries? Cant see anything else with huge potential.

Overcast here still with light snow flurries, been like this most of the day. Trying so hard to snow but not enough moisture in the atmosphere now :D

Watch the radar , they head south west then suddenly divert south

Wind direction has changed into the north , the streamer is starting to head more towards the very far east kent and down the dover straights... Not good , will need to keep an eye on things next few hrs

You see, i knew it would all go east of me now, :D

Temps already back below 0C now after briefly getting above freezing in the early afternoon, ice looks like being a big problem in the smaller roads, good to see the snowfall not really melt at all over the course of the day, I'd imagine it'll still be about for the top up tomorrow night...

That band of showers has weakened, and will fade the next hour or two, Does look like more showers are making their way inland from the Wash area, so I hope these make inland roads to Cambridge!

Very slight thaw in Rickmansworth but still 4-5 inches in garden.

Light snow reported 5 miles away in Watford and very overcast here, so might get a bit of a top up.
