Who's likely to see the snow tonight????

Whoever is seeing it now really. Will just stay where it is and gradually fizzle out I think. Still got life in it though yet as the view out of my window suggests!

Radar suggests some stalling of the northward movement of it... what you reckon Dave? Given the fact its the coldest its been since 9am here. Good to here you've got it up the road in Peterboro! You are better off here in the Midlands thread rather than the poxy SE/Anglia one!

I did say last night that you will always find winners and losers in these marginal situations. Sometimes it just comes down to who sees the heaviest precip.

It has indeed stalled and just plonked a heavy area of PPN right on top of me, must be pushing 5cm out there by the end of all this, still snowing pretty heavily as well.

I can't believe it , teits your in one of the least favoured places in this setup and your getting big fluffy flakes , In Leicester it is just sleet and everywhere is flooded with puddles. You don't half have some luck in Peterborough mate.

for leicestershire, the area southeast of birmingham looks our best bet of a covering, if it retains its intensity will be the heaviest its been all night here.

I must admit I seem to be lucky and I even have some of the lying snow left from the pre-xmas falls!

Its nothing special to be honest just wet snow with big fluffy flakes falling onto a mainly wet ground.

Have to say I think this precip has reached its N limit now.
