I think we have our first cm here now, theres deffo a cm on the cars abit difficult to tell about the ground but im assuiming so. Its easing off here now

Very heavy fine flakes at the moemnt ( about 1p in size )

It's been snowing on and off this evening in the far west but nothing that leads me to believe we will get a nice dumping. I bet we are going to miss out on all the fun while the rest of the country gets a right good load of snow.

I had forecast it a few days ago, but not the BBC or MO...

It will intensify over the bristol channel and hit devon from midnight, reaching the south coast around 2am.

Accumulations will be between 5cm and 10cm.
