Absolute Blizzard Conditions now - And it is a Blizzard as the winds are gusting over 35mph - Visibility zero and Whiteout

There are more showers/convection behind this which is going to run up the Estuary!

Latest run of the HIRLAM (Dutch Met) model upgrades snowfall amounts with 22cm over Central Kent and 17cm over South-West Essex.

Could well snow for some 24-36 hours in some spots in Kent (if only lightly) :D

17cms would do me nicely for my region,

Snow losing its pattern now on the NW radar thingy. Could get a bit random. No idea if that's good or not.

Stopped now and the orange clouds have gone. But it was fun while it lasted, and it has added a cm or two as well :D

Need to drive over to Kent tomorrow, so while I am loving the snow I don't want too much to make it impossible to get there. Anyway, enough excitment, lamppost and blob watching for me. Time for some zzzzs.

Good luck with the snow over your way, Steve. you too, Paul. Night all

Looks like im going to glance this one- but the ones behind are on a vector thats around 3/4 degrees more westerly component-

Doesnt sound a lot- but thats the difference between heavy snow only getting to Bluewater & moving into NW kent to Bexley & some of the SE's-
