Had a snow shower here about 40 mins ago, now have a fairly clear blue sky! What a mixture it has been today!

Just had a very heavy snow shower here in North Bristol. Temp was 6 degrees in the car when it started and dropped to 2 degrees in 10 minutes. Pretty impressive shower it was, too!

Yep, a good 15 minutes of snow here in Downend at 3.45. Quite took me by surprise. :( Moderate and very windy with it. Almost squall-like.

More please! :(

Ooohhh what an unexpected surprise a sharp 10 min snow showers has left the grass partly white, couple more showers like that and we could get a cm or two :(

Sureal scene outside at the moment. Big snow shower has just been through, still lots of flakes in the

air and the full moon is out and everything is glowing white :) . Temp 1.3c dropped from 2.1c

just before the shower.

Do I see the beginnings of a streamer coming out of the cheshire gap through into mid wales

Wind profiles look just about suitable for such an occurrence

Not much precip there yet though. All eyes on the radar

Just had another very heavy snow shower.

Lasted about 10 mins.

Roofs and cars are white now.

Temp has dropped by about 4c in the last hour and everything is frozen solid.

Couldnt see 5 cars infront of me at one point.

Grass white in Winterbourne from a 10 minute blizzard about 1/2 an hour ago.

Would be nice to get the stuff streaming into the Cheshire gap but I think it will just miss here (that's if it even gets this far)

Have you recently had a "Trowbridge-grade" showshield installed then??!! :D:)

Just got back from Chippenham... Had a couple of 5-10 minute heavy-ish show showers...

Clear skies here in Trowbridge at the moment, but there must've been a short shower earlier, as there is a very slight dusting on the grass/fence.

I'm working tomorrow, but already I can feel a radar/lamp-post watching night coming on!

Just had another big shower.

Everything is white, Roads, grass, roofs etc.

About 1/2 cm just landed.

MASSSIVE flakes, much bigger than a few weeks ago.

If that happened for a few hours gloucester should be completely shutoff.

Looks like another shower is about to move in, But theres nothing behind it.

So that looks like it.

The snow from our second shower this afternoon hasn't melted yet! Cars and roofs and wheelie bins still have their coverings.

Can anybody in Cornwall and West Devon confirm what that green blob down your neck of the woods is falling as? It looks pretty intense in some spots

On the coast is cold rain + hail,rain + sleet in otterham at about 250m,it's orrible out.
