Good idea for west Fife I think, as the heaviest precipitation will not reach that far west sadly.

Naw!

We seem to be having a repeat of last February in these partscray.gif

Touch and go for Edinburgh....

If we missed it all it'd be incredibly unlucky.

I think it might skirt just to our east... grrr...

Latest 17:30 radar frame has updated. Heavy snow seems to have reached Leven, Fife, and it's heading SW'wards. [:)]

I'd say an Edinburgh evening snowfall is fairly imminent now and I'd expect some snow within the next 2 hours.

Not necessarily much but we'll see.

MetO warning has updated and now inclues Edinburgh and Midlothian.

Hi Innes, It's not very heavy here. Hopefully we will all receive a good dumping before any breakdown. Hang in there!

Incredibly annoying- snowing about 5 miles north and east of here and heavily but it refuses to move this way!!

edit: just started snowing properly here.

Seems to be on here that to get almost instant snow, just post a complaint about the lack of it. That's twice today I think. crazy.gif

Well it reached a max of -1c here today with slight shower of snow about 1.00pm which gave a covering so making it 18 ice days so far this winter, for a long time if we got 1 ice day/ winter we thought we were doing well.

I know!! Brilliant! Still going here but not really amounting to much, though it will be icy in the morning.

Or Ice Berk as MrsCatch calls me pardon.gif

In practice for our snow chasing in the States next year, you should travel to Aberdeen. Twice this week there has been onions loads of snow up there or at least while on route!!

That looks like it would be a good site for a permanent camera for an organisation which monitors traffic across Scotland. Should we e-mail them??

Lol. Just suggested to mods that we ask TS if it is ok to post stills. It was apparently not them (TS) that complained, but another region (Fluffybottomshire maybe?). TS do say you can ask to use their feeds.
