Did i read earlier that someone was gonna put a chart of the predicted precipitation and compare

it to the live one just gone to see the outcome?

Would be intrested to find out!!!

nice beefy clouds towering coming up from the IOW here had a very heavy shower earlier and thats it.

Dark cloud to the south/south east, seems to be moving slow and looks stormy, not sure if it is tho and will most likely miss me to my west or change and go to my east lol like usual! altho not sure, will have to wait for it to get a bit closer to be able to tell!

Just heard some a minute ago, I thought it might reach Leicester and it did.

Sky to the south/south east looks thundery, not sure if anythings gunna happen, clouds seem to now be going in a more south-north direction. I would really love to see some lightning now, but i have a feeling i might not :S although this time it looks to be coming straight at me, just hope it dont go to either side of me last min!

Still milky sunshine...high cloud is thinning though now which is good news....plenty of heavy showers/storms firing up over the welsh borders, so only a matter of time.......hopefully!

from a IMBY perspective for Kent, going by the track of the channel cells and 500hpa wind vectors it kinda looks like la harve --> deppe is where we need to see development to move into Kent but given the unexpected nature of today, i guess anything is about possible lol
