Someone is telling me that it's snowing in my home town. I think they might be pulling my leg but Feeney is not far from me at all!

Passing over here now, gone from 13.1c to 12.1c in three minutes!

At 3.30pm it was 13.1c, at 3.35pm it was 11.4c now its 10.4c at 3.41pm!

Now 9.1c at 3.45pm, exact 4c drop in 15 minutes. Rain rate of 174.2mm/hr recorded as the front passed over, it really only lasted a minute or two!

That is absolutely fantastic! I can't wait for the squall line to hit here - the rain won't be as strong but I'm hoping for a big temp drop!

Yeah it seems like the front has developed into quite a strong and well defined system, the temperature differences over some parts of Ireland is quite impressive...love this time of year for these systems!

i can assure you, its slow moving aswell darren.

Yeah, though radar in the last hour does seem to show the ssytem has picked up some speed in the last few hours or so...strongest part of the front just passed through Dublin.

Down to 7.1c at 4.15pm, representing a 6c drop in 45 minutes! It was 7.4c at 4pm.

It's absolutely Baltic outside!! Have heard reports today of snow falling on the Glenshane and in Donegal! Nice to see it so early this year! Gonna be a long winter of ramping!!

Drove from dublin to meath this evening the rate of temp decrease looking at the temp reading in the car was impressive,went from 14c to 5c by the time i got home.

3c now in Glengormley Co Antrim!

jeepers 3c in glengormley, thats cold.

I loved living in glengormley, we always got the snow if there was any to be had.smile.png
