Strong Gales Developing in Mediterranean

Today

A dry day to come across England today. An area of light rain some dry spells will affect Netherlands, Belgium and the far north of France. Most of central and southern France should be fine and dry with sunny spells. Some patchy rain may also affect extreme northern parts of Germany. Showers in the far south but in between it looks fair and dry. A number of rain, showers are expected across Sweden, down through Denmark with snow showers across western parts of Norway. An area of more persistent and heavy rain is forecast from Finland down towards the Baltic region. Expect a rash of heavy showers with isolated thunderstorms across the Alps, northern half of Italy into Austria. Southern parts of Italy will be fine and dry. Pleasantly warm across Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina with sunny spells. Dry as well across Greece. Lots of sunshine expected across western and central parts of Turkey. While occasional rain and snow showers will affect the eastern part. Some light rain is forecast across Bulgaria, but dry with sunny spells stretching from Romania up through Hungary across Czech Republic into the Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. Most of Poland will also be dry but with a good deal of cloud. It will be dry across Iberia with sunny spells expected across Portugal and Spain, into the Balearics.

Wednesday

Cloudy and warmer with outbreaks of rain across parts of the United Kingdom. Warmer as well across France with good sunny spells. Lots of dry weather will extend from Belgium and through Netherlands, across into Germany, the Czech Republic eastward into Poland, the Baltic States and into Belarus. Another fine day to come across Iberia with sunny spells across Portugal and Spain eastward through the Balearics and across into most of Italy. Cold and windy with outbreaks of snow across Norway today while rain is expected across Sweden and Denmark. Morning rain should clear Finland to sunny spells. Rain and heavy showers will affect western Russia today with a few sharp showers across southern parts of the Ukraine, but dry and sunny in the north. Warm with sunny spells as well across Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, it will also be fine and dry across Greece, Bulgaria, Romania and all of Turkey with lots of sunshine. Strong easterly winds will prevail across a large portion of the Mediterranean and through the Straits of Gibraltar with gusts to 40 to 50mph.

Plenty of sunshine for central Europe, but rain in central Mediterranean

Wednesday

Cloudy and warmer with outbreaks of rain across parts of the United Kingdom. Warmer as well across France with good sunny spells. Lots of dry weather will extend from Belgium and through Netherlands, across into Germany, the Czech Republic eastward into Poland, the Baltic States and into Belarus. Another fine day to come across Iberia with sunny spells across Portugal and Spain eastward through the Balearics and across into most of Italy. Cold and windy with outbreaks of snow across Norway today while rain is expected across Sweden and Denmark. Morning rain should clear Finland to sunny spells. Rain and heavy showers will affect western Russia today with a few sharp showers across southern parts of the Ukraine, but dry and sunny in the north. Summery across the Balkans

Today

Much cooler across England today with a few showers. An area of rain expected from northern and western parts of Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Slovenia. Lots of sunshine today come across the Czech Republic through Hungary, Romania, the Ukraine, Bulgaria, Greece and most of Turkey. Still rather cold across Scandinavia with snow showers across northern parts of Norway. Outbreaks of rain in rain showers for northern Sweden and most of Finland. Southern parts of Norway and southern Sweden will be dry. Another area of heavy rain is expected to affect the Baltic States and Belarus with a dry day across western Russia. A few sharp showers to come across eastern Poland otherwise dry and mostly sunny.

Continued very warm and summery across eastern and south eastern parts of Europe and across the Balkans. Cooler across western Europe today. Occasional showers will affect England and northern parts of France today. Frontal rain will extend from Russia through the Baltic States northern Poland into Germany and the southern half of France down across eastern Spain. Heavy showers will also affect central parts of Spain. Much colder across Spain today. Scattered showers are also expected from the Balearics across into Corsica and Sardinia but a dry day to come across Italy. Heavy rain expected over the Alps with snow over the higher elevations. Continued fair and dry across the Czech Republic, Serbia and Croatia with long sunny spells expected across Greece, Bulgaria, Turkey, and up through Romania into the Ukraine and Belarus. Largely dry but rather cloudy today across Belgium, Holland and Denmark while snow showers again will affect northern parts of Norway and Sweden with rain showers in the south. Snow showers to are expected across northern Finland with southern Finland staying dry with the best of the sunshine. Strong west wind will be blowing through the Straits of Gibraltar. Once again and warmest weather will extend from it's really eastward across the Balkans and into the Ukraine. Slightly warmer as well across Iberia today. The weather looks fine and dry with sunny spells across England, northeastern France, Belgium, Holland, northern and central parts of Germany and Denmark. Quite a few showers are forecast for Portugal and northern parts of Spain with central and southeastern Spain dry and sunny. A band of heavy rain will extend from southern Russia across into Belarus with light rain expected in the far south of Poland and southern Germany. Northern Poland, the Baltic States and north Western Russia should be dry with sunny spells. Cold and windy with snow showers across Western Norway but dry and sunny across eastern Norway, Sweden and most of Finland. Unsettled across southern parts of France with heavy showers and these extend down across Corsica, Sardinia and across the Alps. Most of Italy will be sunny, dry and warm. Warmest for Southern Spain and the Balkans

Warm across much of mainland Europe with a large area of high pressure centered over Eastern Europe keeping it settled. Lots of dry, sunny weather to come from Portugal into Spain, western France into England, Belgium, Holland and Denmark. Lots of showers, some heavy with thunder are forecast for eastern France into southern Germany, Austria and Italy. Rain and showers are expected across Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia today but staying very warm. Fine and dry across Greece, Turkey into Romania, The Ukraine into Belarus, Poland, northern Germany, The Baltic States and western Russia. Rain is expected across Norway with lots of fine sunshine across Sweden and Finland.

Tuesday

Continued warm and dry across England today. Most of France see generally be fair and dry although there is a risk of showers across north eastern France. Lots more in the way of showers are expected across Belgium, Holland, although Germany, Italy, Austria, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and into Hungary and Poland. Some of the showers will be thundery and heavy. Just the odd shower to come across Greece today. Dry, warm and sunny weather is forecast across Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, the Ukraine and areas northward into Belarus, the Baltic States and Russia. Thundery showers in central Europe, cloud and rain in the west

Tuesday

Continued warm and dry across England today. Most of France see generally be fair and dry although there is a risk of showers across north eastern France. Lots more in the way of showers are expected across Belgium, Holland, although Germany, Italy, Austria, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and into Hungary and Poland. Some of the showers will be thundery and heavy. Just the odd shower to come across Greece today. Dry, warm and sunny weather is forecast across Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, the Ukraine and areas northward into Belarus, the Baltic States and Russia. A fine dry and mostly sunny day to come across Norway and Sweden with more cloud expected across Finland. Fine and dry across Denmark as well. Outbreaks of rain are expected across the far north of Spain today with the rest of Spain and Portugal generally fair and dry. It will also remain dry across the Balearics, Corsica into Sardinia.

Wednesday

 

Cloud and periods of rain affecting the north of Spain today. Some showery rain in central parts of France too. More rain will affect the Low Countries, although most of this should only be light. Summery across Iberia

Today

Very warm across Iberia and eastern Europe today, cooler in the north and west. Expect rain across Britain today. Very unsettled across France, Germany, northern Italy and Austria with frequent, heavy and possibly thundery showers, although the south of France will be dry but very windy with a strong mistral blowing. Outbreaks of more persistent rain are possible across Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia. Just a few well scattered showers across Greece today otherwise dry and sunny. More in the way of heavy showers and scattered thunderstorms will develop across Turkey today. Lots of dry sunny and very warm weather will extend from Bulgaria up through Romania into the Ukraine, Belarus and much of Russia. Expect rain across Norway today with sunny spells and dry weather for Sweden and Finland. Heavy showers will affect Denmark with rain expected across Belgium and Holland. Most of Spain and Portugal will be dry and quite warm and this extends across the Balearics through Sardinia into southern parts of Italy.

Sunday

 

Further rain to come across Britain today. Very unsettled across much of mainland Europe today with plenty of showers expected across France, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Austria and across Italy. The far south of France again will be dry and sunny. It will be some sunshine intersperses these showers at will be frequent with a risk of thunder. A number of showers with a risk of thunder are also forecast across Croatia, Serbia, Greece and Hungary along with the Eastern half of Turkey. Western Turkey should be drier and sunnier in this dry sunny weather is also forecast for Romania, the Ukraine, Belarus and Western Russia. Snow showers will affect Western and northern parts of Norway with rain showers for Sweden. Rather cloudy but dry across Finland today with some rain across the Baltic States into Poland. The far south of France again will be dry and sunny. It will be some sunshine intersperses these showers at will be frequent with a risk of thunder. A number of showers with a risk of thunder are also forecast across Croatia, Serbia, Greece and Hungary along with the Eastern half of Turkey. Western Turkey should be drier and sunnier in this dry sunny weather is also forecast for Romania, the Ukraine, Belarus and Western Russia. Snow showers will affect Western and northern parts of Norway with rain showers for Sweden. Rather cloudy but dry across Finland today with some rain across the Baltic States into Poland. Very warm and sunny weather continues across Spain and Portugal. Strong winds again will affect southern France and these will extend down through central Mediterranean.

A fine day across Spain and Portugal for Monday. There will be good spells of sunshine throughout the day and it should be warm too. Pleasant for the Balearics with sunshine here. A few showers in northern Italy, but on the whole it should be dry with sunny spells. Cloud and some rain in northern Greece, but good sunny spells for most. A few thundery showers in Turkey.
