Hot across Eastern Europe

Today

Hot, dry and sunny across Spain and Portugal today cooler regards dry with sunny spells across France into Belgium and Holland. Lots of warm sunshine to come from the Balearics westward across Corsica, Sardinia and Italy. A number of heavy showers with the risk of thunder are possible across Bulgaria, parts of Greece and western parts of Turkey with central and eastern Turkey sunny, dry and very warm. Cloudier across Germany with some patchy bits of rain with some heavy showers over the Alps. Warm, dry and sunny weather is expected across Austria, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina into Hungary, Romania and the Ukraine. Some rain to come across western Poland with eastern Poland, Belarus and much of Russia very warm and dry. Outbreaks of rain are expected across Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland and this will move into the Baltic States later in the day.

Saturday

Across England it will be cool day with a mixture of sunny spells and showers. A few showers to come as well across north eastern parts of France with heavier and more frequent showers expected across Belgium, Holland, Germany and the Alps. A better day to come across Norway and Sweden with good sunny spells while further rain will affect Finland today. It looks dry across the Baltic States down through Belarus, Poland, most of the Ukraine into Romania. A few scattered showers are possible across Bulgaria and Greece but largely dry, sunny and warm. Plenty of warm sunshine will be on offer across Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia. Most of Turkey will have another dry and very warm and sunny day. Portugal and Spain will also be hot with unbroken sunshine and again this extends eastward across the Balearics into Italy.

Warm across Europe, showers east

Today

Across England it will be cool day with a mixture of sunny spells and showers. A few showers to come as well across north eastern parts of France with heavier and more frequent showers expected across Belgium, Holland, Germany and the Alps. A better day to come across Norway and Sweden with good sunny spells while further rain will affect Finland today. It looks dry across the Baltic States down through Belarus, Poland, most of the Ukraine into Romania. A few scattered showers are possible across Bulgaria and Greece but largely dry, sunny and warm. Some heavy showers forming across central and northern parts of Spain today. Southern and eastern areas should be drier with sunny spells. Fair and sunny over Italy with some very warm weather here too. More sunshine to come in Greece, although some heavy showers for Turkey. Cloud and some rain in western and central France. The cloud affecting Switzerland and Austria too, with some heavy rain affecting parts of Hungary. Southern Poland should have some rain, although the north should be drier with sunny spells. Some sunshine in northern Germany and the Low Countries, dry here too. Unsettled over Scandinavia with low pressure in control. There will be showers or longer spells of rain, most over Denmark and the south of Sweden and Norway. More northern parts of Norway should be cloudy with some spots of rain to come here.

While there will be some sunshine, plenty of showers are forecast across Britain, Belgium, Holland, France, Germany, Poland into Belarus, Austria, the Czech Republic and across parts of Croatia and Slovenia. Lots of very warm sunshine to come across Serbia, Hungary, The Ukraine, Bulgaria, The Ukraine, Greece and Turkey. Most of Italy looks dry and sunny with just the odd late shower in the south. Fine and sunny across the western Mediterranean into a hot and sunny Spain and Portugal A strong mistral will be blowing across a sunny southern France. A dry day across the Baltic Region with showers across Russia. Frequent and heavy showers will also affect Norway and Sweden with sunny spells and fewer showers across Finland. Strong east winds will be blowing through the Straits of Gibraltar with gales in the channel.

A dry day to come across England today. Outbreaks of rain are forecast for much of France and Germany with early rain tending to clear Belgium and Holland. Some heavy spells of rain will spread in across Norway with the risk of showers for Sweden and Denmark. Most of Poland should be dry with sunny spells. Some heavy rain may affect southern parts of Finland with the risk of heavy showers across the Baltic states and western Russia. Some rain to come across Belarus with much of the Ukraine having a dry and very warm day. Sunny and very warm as well southward across Romania most of Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey. Quite hot across eastern parts of Europe today. Some heavy, thundery showers will develop across southern half of Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic, Croatia and Serbia. These will be interspersed with some sunny intervals. Northern parts of Italy, Corsica, Sardinia, the Balearics, Spain and Portugal will have fine, dry sunny day it will be quite hot across Spain and Portugal.

A few afternoon thunderstorms may be triggered across central parts of Iberia today, but for most the day should be dry, warm and sunny. Some showers could affect the north of Spain too. Fine and dry across Italy with lots of sunshine, and stay dry and sunny for Greece and Turkey. Cool conditions with some showery rain passing eastwards across France and the Low Countries, this moving into Germany in the afternoon. Further showers for western Poland but dry to the east. An odd shower in Austria, Hungary and Switzerland. A chance of a shower in Denmark. Warm and dry through Norway and Sweden with spells of sunshine here. More sunshine and warm weather in Finland, whilst some heavy showers will affect the Baltic States.

Sperry warm weather extends eastward across the Balearics through Corsica, Sardinia, Italy, Greece and Turkey. A few sharp showers will affect Bulgaria, Romania and Belarus otherwise lots of sunshine to come across Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Hungary, most of the Ukraine and Russia. Very hot again across Russia today. Few showers and sunny spells a come across the Baltic States and Finland with most of Poland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark dry and mostly sunny. Strong easterly gales will be blowing through the Straits of Gibraltar and will be rather windy from the Black Sea down through the Aegean Sea into eastern parts of the Mediterranean.
