Monday looks nice on the 12z early afternoon south of here. Shame I have pretty much zero chance of getting time off work at the moment! Looks to some nicely backed surface winds south of Bridlington down towards Lincolnshire. Probably due to some small scale lows which are never going to be accurately forecast this far out but it's fun to look at

Have provisionally pencilled in the Lincs area for the Monday Chase - As far away from London the Better.

Chris Hollins is going to be the Presenter who will be chasing with us and the Film Crew............If this stays a goer over the next 2 days :lol:

I am not holding my breath until Sunday and that is the day I have to call this off if the Uk fails to deliver once again

At least at the moment the GFS is remaining consistant but still got those fairly high dew points. Have to be home grown one suspects as I can't see anything crossing the channel given the upper winds forecast.

That's what I'm most interested in aswell.

I will be down that area with my girlfriend on Sunday around York but we are thinking of going to Scarborough.

There hasn't been much mention of this so far, but I'm getting pretty excited about the potential!

Need a good storm as the USA didn't quite deliver this year.

I'll be taking my camera so I maybe have to persuade my girlfriend to come on a little storm chase lol.

Looks like an upgrade on the 12z aswell.

If you are going to Scarborough i higly recommend a speedboat ride. The crazy lady boat is pretty good and you have to wear a lifejacket..

Shame I'm too poor to drive otherwise i'd be gunning it down to the SE on Sunday evening, Stuck here in Manchester so hoping for some home-grown's or a shift in the vectors change by the GFS to see anything. Of course there is always the NW livestream as a possibility but its not the same lol. Teetering on the edge of 3000kj of energy here in the Pennines, just hope that CF takes as much time as it wants.
