Which wonders me, this cloud band coming through now does it have Precipitation? Which I am led to believe is the CF, with a trough forming behind it - As the TEMPORARY CHANGE (TEMPO) in the TAFs with +TSRA are for tomorrow morning, which is supposedly set to be extremely clear and Sunny.

Windy here, but nothing to write home about tbh. I've seen worse this year...

Yep - as expected, nothing to beat 23rd May.

Well, nothing more than a breezy day here, not that I expected anything more in this part of the world...In fact I'd go as far as to say that I experienced stronger gusts the last time the dog farted......Still looks like some areas up north have had some gales today.......

A few videos taken just over an hour ago, the tide was out or it would have been more dramatic. My face is still burning from the wind + salt spray!

Thats surprising. Here weve had some pretty strong gusts and similar reports from Evesham etc.

Worth baring in mind that I'm some way away from Evesham (50 miles or so)

Just breezy here & occasionally gusty, nothing special whatsoever

Dunno about that, this probably windiest day ive known, I know now 2 people who have been hit by falling trees, 1 in the Haughton area of Stafford

also a tree lying on the path by Kwik save at wildwood

Just shows the idiosyncrasies of our weather Mark, I'm only 5 miles from Haughton...In saying that though It's probably gustier now though than at any stage of the day. I was down in Badby earlier today (near Daventry) it was certainly gusty down there, I'd estimate gusts of 35-40 miles per hour maybe

Well what a letdown.

Way below expectations here, nothing more than an average windy day. I drive around the NE for work and have seen nothing to indicate severe weather, no broken fences, uprooted trees or snapped branches, just a few bendy trees and rubbish blowing around.

Oh, I did hear that the Tees Flyover at Middlesbrough had been closed due to the wind but absolutely nothing I wouldn't expect a couple of times a year.

Never mind, here's to a long cold snowy winter (fingers crossed), I just wish the Met Office weren't so damned sensitive about pushing out unneccessary warnings in order to justify their income/super computer !fool.gif
