Anyone know how long we've got left of potential snow for west Yorkshire in particular?

Current observation reports in this region show some good snow and heavy in places at the moment mainly for inland parts near the East. For the rest of tonight snow showers are likely to stay for inland area's that are close to the East coast. The heaviest snow will along the Eastern coast and Southeastern parts as well at 9pm. Around midnight it will dry up for most parts but still heavy snow in Southeastern areas which will eventually turn to snow showers at 3am. Enjoy the snow.

Latest forecasts show no snow melt at all tomorow, Id rather have 7/8cm that stays than 15cm that turns to rain :) very pleased with todays event although a bit anti-climatic at times.

Hi all, snow has got progressively heavier here all afternoon, frustrating at first but now up to a healthy 6cm in Idle, North Bradford at 190m asl. Temperature -0.5

Looking like its soon coming to an end on the radar.

Heaviest yet to come though mate. And it seems to have slowed a lot too. slightly disappointed as it's been constant but not really laid properly. Hopefully the heavier stuff will do the trick!

Its still moderate small flakes here at the moment but its laying readily as we still had a near-enough full cover left from Thursday night. Its providing a pretty good base for the new stuff and stopping it from blowing around too much.

You can definitely tell theres some milder upper air wrapped up in this though. There are still some occasional sleety bits despite the fact the temperature on the ground is -0.6C.

Around a cm here at the moment with very heavy snow (small flakes). Not sure whether we will see 5cm like the forecast suggests but you never know.

Fingers crossed for the 9-10pm slot :-) Loved the dry powdery stuff that blows everwhere earlier. 2010 all over again?
