There is a general theme here though I suppose.

Clacton = Nada

Saarfend = Nada

Brighton = Nada

Folky = Nada

South facing coasts - Hmmmmmmm

Yep, can confirm nothing here in Folkestone so far...

Paul, give it time mate, I'm technically a south facing coast (I'm say 1-2 miles inland from the Thames...and YES it does make a difference depsite it being narrower) and it took a while to get going, once it did get going though its decent. i'd estimate proper snowfall around Canvey/Pitsea area now, so probably not that long to go mate.

Paul, I can't believe you have no snow! Ours was very light for ages then once it started to snow properly, well, I have already had a snowball in my face!

Decent snowfall now in Rayleigh so further East should get it soon

I feel your pain Paul, infact i believe we had this very conversation in 2009!

People are reporting snow in Colchester which is 23 Miles EAST of me, as are people north and south. I've shone the torch out again and its probably level 0.005, more akin to a the dust that floats about on house work day.

M

Yep History repeating I feel

But wont have to stray far to see deep snow tomorrow.

I reckon we will be lucky on the coasts to get above 2-3cm - Just not got the feel to it. Whereas a bit of elevation (Rayleigh) and a few more miles and it has been chucking it down with snow for about 50 minutes.

Strange this weather malarky

I prob wrong but it realy looks like on radar the heavy stuff is having a job to get to the coast, play a few frames on the nw radar and look at suffolk and norfolk coast.

Looked outside and its snowing heavier again. Roughly about 2cm on the ground. I'm in bed with the laptop and can't be bothered to get up and look out the window for awhile (too cosy lol). To all those around North London please keep giving updates :)
