This area isn't in for much so can't see how Croydon can be due heavy unless an area of ppn is going to break of and drift that way, or maybe Croydon council are being a bit ott.

Council workers? Ott?

They dont care. Its not their money...

Okay so with things more east now..This is my take on things...The red circle indicates precipitation that isn't there.. (error)

The main PPN will still head more to the SW than your arrows show. However I will bank your take on things.....

to my novice eye and very generally :-) the major pink on the radar right now is looking very similar to the NAE 6pm chart? So is it on the forecast track or not??? :-)

I think its *slightly* east. But not enough to make any difference. Reckon its a miss!

It's still moving south to my eye. Wind vectors seem to support this too... question is when will it start shifting SW?

:lazy: thats no good is it?

Could be worse, 1.9C a tad high but Dew Points below -1C are fine, and temperature should drop a little more, I think tonight the problem will be how far south and east the snow comes and not the temperature as the snow is from N/NW (inland) rather than saturday where snow hugged the coast bringing offshore winds (from the South).

Snowing in Chelmsford now and the Met warnings have now included Essex for snow...

Have they? They overlap - I can see an icy roads warning but the snow line seems to be further west?

i wish the met office would hit ctrl+alt+del on their radar - something, somewhere needs rebooting - usually does the trick!
