Wonder what it'll be like here in Gloucestershire tomorrow. Met office curls the rain around us in disgust and heads down to Cornwall allowing us to stay less wet. Other models have rainfall hammering heaviest just to our north and still giving us a soaking.

Will be interesting to see how this system pans out as it crosses england and which models were closest.

It will be a wonderful sunny day tomorrow. ;)

Well the 12z GFS places the heavier ppn back north over northern parts of England, a large jump again compared to the 6z.

I think somewhere between Leeds and Birmingham will see the highest totals....this doesn't really narrow it down I know.....

Another day of potential and another day of dissapointment here. Really sucks these past few years, we used to have massive storms in the 90s. The last proper storm was in 2005 I think and I've heard about 4 distant rumbles since then. sorry.gif . Still can't help watching the radar and looking at charts though. Temp 21c, 79% humidity, 17.7Dew Point.

I'd rather listen to what the MetO has to say, than go by model runs...And now I'll be proved wrong!laugh.png

More it rather splits it with a heavy band going North and another one heading across Midlands/Wales and then SW England.

30-779_sxo3.GIF

GFS accumulation shows SW England could be the wettest spot.

Looking at it, I think there's an error in the run soemwhere....goes from this.....

to this.....

in just one frame. Very unlikely IMO

OK, Evidently none of these charts can agree any anything related to PPN.

I think due to how dynamic this situation is, its purely guess work ( Moreso than the normal forecast/guessing game ) The problem being something very slight could kickoff a massive amount of convection creating a monster cell anywhere.

Yes there is a "general" area that will probably be hit , But any convective stuff is anyones guess.

Some places where its showing near zero rain could suddenly bit hid by 50mm. So tomorrow is going to be very fun to watch.
