Forget the bbc forecasts!!they downplay everything!!why where you located?

Could you perhaps post some charts to support your heatwave claim?

Those are gfs temperatures which could obviously be right but am going according to the ecmwf and that model looks to be showing high twentys low thirties or england!!

Some are getting a bit too carried away I think. Yeah it'll be warm but it's not the heatwave some are saying it will be...

Barely getting into the mid-20s. Anything higher than that is just unpleasant anyway!

I will do later on!!just sitting down to eat!!if your located in the far north of england and further north then yeh the weather wont be all that but further south for the majority of the country it looks like its going to be a beauty!!

Could you perhaps post some charts to support your heatwave claim?

Yeah Nick the really hot weather looks well south of here, we look near enough average all week, even turning cool end of week

and meto generally goes for drizzle at times

Comfortably warm (i.e. low 20s) and sunny and I'll be very happy indeed! Beats the endless drizzle. Might even be able to sneak in a BBQ.

foggy start, reminds me of autumn a bit, the last few days, suppose 2nd half of July is getting gradually cooler,

On the contrary the second half of July is the warmest time of the year, and this year the second half of July is turning out warmer than the first half so not sure I get your point?

Top-notch weather today. Almost clear blue skies with warm sunshine, despite it being a bit windy. 4 1/2 star rating from me today. :')

Was about time that sunshine shield broke apart. :D

A lovely day so far, warm, breezy but very pleasant....Some fair weather cloud is bubbling up but hopefully the cloud from the frontal system straddling the north of the UK will stay away to our north over the next couple of days...Up here though, it might be a bit touch and go though

The sky honestly looks so beautiful right now, not a cloud in sight and clear blue.

Shame it's not going to last though.
