I would expect the cell in mid-Wales to electrify shortly, some high RF rates in that.

Dark, damp and drizzly here today, although rain pepping up a little now.

Warminster has caught a core with 30-40mm per hour rate which is impressive to watch and is the heaviest of the aforementioned line, but of course leaves me wishing it was thundery too!

Absolutely stinking day here now. Constant drizzle, blown in by a slow moving easterly/ north-easterly (which is also blowing vast amounts of petro-chemical pollution over the town)...had to wear a fleece to go out before, I've got the temp hovering round 13c....and it is showing no signs of letting up. 100% blanket stratus cloud too. Please someone give me hope haha!

Are you sure you're not in Norfolk???? rofl.gif

haha, careful, we will get our posts moved to the NSC!

Seriously, I'm hoping those nice looking cells in mid-wales keep shifting. But from experience, the hills will kill them long before they reach us

Nearing half an inch of rain in the last 45 minutes here and the radar shows this line building and heading in the general direction of BA12, with perhaps

the heaviest just a few miles to the South. I wonder how much we'll end up with

NW home page has thunderstorm over my location at present, it isn't but I wish lol !
