Very stubborn string of rain over the North Home-Counties. Been raining here for half hour, 5 miles either side is dry!

I must be on the edge of that then, not raining here at the moment !

Morning soggy Southerners!

Another night of rain lashing against the windows and it looks like this is the wettest September on my records with over 75mm at home so far.

Brightness finally on the horizon, with a bit more to come this morning first it before exits stage right I think.

Morning all,

I'm not soggy, well the grass is a bit wet but it looks much greener that it did !

Only 43.4mm of rain here so far this month, but just imagine if that had been snow angel.gif

Maybe the amount of percipitation we are getting will persist into winter and if it gets cold enough, who knows we might get luckly :)

Mornin each. Quite a pleasant morning in N. (I'm sick to death of writing Ipswich/Norwich et al. From now on its I or N) :)

The sun is around and there is a touch of blue between the clouds.

Have a great day everyone. :D â˜â˜â˜â˜â˜

The rain seems to have abated for the last 2 hours and hopefully we are coming out the other side of the major stuff. Still not bright or sunny, but there is a distinct lack of precipitation at least for now :good:

Before we head into winter, some strange people think we may not know the difference between Rain & Snow..

That's a sneek preview of the MK shopping Centre Xmas display, thought the plans were secretbiggrin.png

They were but I can give you some inside information on it now....

Dream, Wish, Believe... The Journey to Christmas

The Christmas 2012 concept is called ‘Dream, Wish, Believe’ Middleton Hall is to be transformed into a dream-like, fantastical wonderland centred on visitors’ hopes and wishes. ‘Dream, Wish, Believe’ will be an interactive, experiential display that allows children and adults alike to fully immerse themselves into the fantasy of Christmas wonderland.

The much-loved traditional carousel makes a feature, with Santa’s spectacular grotto even bigger and better than 2011.

A talking tree of dreams will delight children and technologically interactive games make the visit especially unique.

The Fairies and Pixies will collect and harvest children’s dreams and if the children believe hard enough their dreams will metamorphosis into beautiful butterflies but the journey is troubled as the cheeky Goblins will try their best to steal dreams and spoil the fun!

It's right up my street, quite literally angel.gif
