Check this out, look at the intense rainfall heading towards the SE, anyone expecting 16-32mm per hour?

Just about to hit any minute here... just moderate rain at the moment. But becoming very gusty.

Morning all,

I was woken up early by the very heavy rain here, 7mm since midnight but it has eased off a bit now - mild though at 10.8 °C

Have a nice day everyone angel.gif

The sun just came out here, not sure what everyone is complaining about ;-)

Another run from the GFS showing snow for us this time next Saturday though still miles away in meteorological terms.

Brightening up here now, after a spell of heavy rain early this morning, as others have had.smile.png

Morning Steve, yes it's quite bright here now and it seems to be drying up nicely good.gif

There are quite a few flood alerts for the SW & SE http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/homeandleisure/floods/31618.aspx but they seem to be mostly for coastal areas !

Torrential rain overnight and a huge downpour around Lewes at 7.00am this morning. A lot of drains were blocked with leaves and this led to some localised flooding and very poor driving conditions.

Hmmm, I like extreme weather but this lot is just not my cup of tea thanks.

I don't really drink much of either, lets hope the Winter season is cold enough for a few glasses of mulled wine though. :good:

Oh yes, I have plenty of that including a rather lovely bottle of mulled elderberry (saving that for the first snowfall)....not to mention the honey rum, sloe gin and blackberry vodka..... at least it will be warm on the inside drinks.gif
