Just watched the Farming forecast recorded earlier. Is forecasting 14 hours of snow for East Yorkshire & Lincolnshire from 8am to 10pm tomorrow.

I guess any snow event will be disappointing compared to December 2010 from now on. tease.gif

True. And being in Italy at the beginning of last month were it was 3 foot deep and -15 in the mountain towns and we were trundling around in my sisters peugeot convertable and managed fine wacko.png . It's quite amusing really how this country comes to a stand still with a couple of inchs on the ground

ooo looks like the heavier spot just developed on the radar is bang on to hit me, might get a light covering here.

Certainly picked up here Jed too.

Covering grass, pavements nicely now. May be the temp dropping is helping but can't be bothered going outside to check.!

Been snowing lightly here for an hour or so but its really struggling to settle, even on the grass. nea.gif

It has recently gained a little intensity however, and the temperature is dropping very slightly, so maybe we will get a dusting, but its not looking good at the moment. Ah well...there is always tomorrow if tonight doesn't amount to anything much.

I can't see it here either. It must be microsnow: even smaller than dandruff snow! I will put out a microscope slide and see if I can catch any. I will have to be quick to see it under the microscope before it melts though nea.gif

Temp is steady at 0.5C with a dew point of 0.3C. It's a bit concerning as it's so cloudy i can't see how the temp is going to drop.

I'm hoping it may be down to wind direction and possibly we could still be feeling coastal modification. Does anyone know when the wind direction will change? Is it after the clearance of the first front?

Started here Worrall way, Covered cars, but seems a little wet. Reasonable sized flakes but again looking to be interspersed with quite a bit of watery snow.

Heavier now here in Pudsey. Settling on grass, cars and paths but not roads. How long will this keep up for? Looking forward to tomorrow. Wets the appetite.

Hi Posthill Wanderer

Im a bit further up the hill maybe??

Live in a private cul-de-sac and even the road covered now. Certainly looking better.

Perhaps this is intensifying a tad? Have moved back in to the conservatory as was annoying the missus curtain twitching blum.gif
