As promised a few pictures.

very brief.

1 of the depth in the garden taken with a ruler (on top of the hutch by the house so should be pretty accurate) 18cm or so, but it has been snowing since and still is.

1 of the main road in my part of dorset the A350, showing that its pretty dire out there.

Some of various places.

The blue thing is a dog lead approx 6 inchs height trying to show the depth on the hill i.e it was twice the depth of the dog lead so 12 inchs or so. (the pictures were all from 9.30am this morning so the hill will certainly be higher.

BTW I know i am very lucky, just wish everybody could have lots of snow.

Current conditions temp 0.9C Dp -1.5C light snow.

sorry about the size of the pictures.

Think it's starting to fragment somewhat, but ya never know!

The last blob on the radar shows as though it broke up through here & has now passed, yet it's still snowing! Temp -0.7

VERY happy with my snowfall. Quite a few cms of wet laying snow, turned to rain eventually and has stopped for the past hour or so but not too much melt so far.

Lunchtime walk lead to a snowball fight with village kids.

One crying nine year old surely means I win. Is that how it works?

Well I went outside to make a snowman (return of sid) to find it is abit on the dry side and doesn't stick tease.gif So I sledged down the road into the villiage which was quite fun!

Shattered now though I'm too old lol lazy.gif

Still steady light snow falling, has been all day long just a shame it isn't abit heavier good.gif -1.1c

Rodwell has had very little. Do you think we will get some more as I have a very disappointed husband who stayed up half the night lamp post watching as he was to excited to sleep.

I think it is breaking up to be fair but will probably get a few more flurrys from it. Would be nice to get a hard deep penetrating frost into this snowcover now to preserve it good.gif

Anyone seen latest NAE charts for weekend? we due anything else?

Heavy snow here in Stroud again, 6-8 inches depending where you stand (I'm not in town!). Very happy!

That blob won't break up until it goes past my neck of the woods biggrin.png

Still light snow, I don't think it has stopped since it started.

LOL just read that back, it makes perfect sense to me.
