Snowing quite heavily here in Sydenham s.e London! Had over 12hrs of snow now but only about 7-8cm I think! Hope we get more on Sunday smile.png can't wait!

I live near Cobb's corner Sydenham and just checked again and no snow. Where in Sydenham are you? it's only a small area!

right i'm off to bed got a 5am start tomorrow otherwise you won't get your junk mail. Hopefully when I open the front door in the morning there will be a bit more snow than there currently is and we'll get to stay in the office whistling.gif

No snow here yet, but I am happy as I had a delivery this morning...a brand new Nikon D3200 SLR camera with an 18-15mm lens! I won it recently in the Thailand Throught the Lens photo competition (http://uk.blog.touri...e-lens-winners/). yahoo.gif

Just need the snow to practice taking pictures on it, ready for the trip to Thailand next month that I also won.

As I said, I need to get out and about to take some pictures with it. Fingers crossed we get some real snow here in South Essex from the fabled Thames Streamer or Sunday's predicted front.

Snowing much harder here now, and due to the cr@phole I live in our close had big security floodlights installed this summer outside, and the snow looks amazing in the near sunlight conditions!!

There is a big shower heading directly to my East, literally 1/2 mile away!! Can see the orange glow over the West End... Grrrrrr.

Snowing much harder here now, and due to the cr@phole I live in our close had big security floodlights installed this summer outside, and the snow looks amazing in the near sunlight conditions!!

You're getting that shower!! Enjoy it. :D

Blue Orchid! Used to be called Blue Schoolkid cos always full of under-agers when I was a 'ripe old age' of 23....sigh...I'd gladly be that "old" again! Tiger Tiger seemed posh compared to the London clubs I'd been to!x

Well done on that, amazing local differences, we have not got 1/10 of that, barely even a dusting. Cars are also wet with water running down the windows so must have been much more sleety here and not under any heavy precip at all which would have made it all snow.

I know most would find this hard to believe today but technically I have not seen 1 proper snow flake! Everything has been the dandruff type sleety mess.

Missing me lovely proper snowflakes!

Amazing isnt it how it differs, saying that my Mum and Dad will be pleased there isnt a lot of snow, they live up Nobles Green Road so the amount will be on par with you, lol

Had light snow/sleet through the evening in central London and then BOOM on around few mnietues ago, snow turned moderate!! biggrin.png

My 13 year old doesn't slam doors she just stomps around...first thing she said when she got home from school was "no snow then?!" and stomped off,,,ah kids rofl.gif

SNAP...My 11 yr old daughter came home from school and said the same though adding it was my fault apparently i said it would start snow this afternoon... oops,, not more than a lone flake in the wind here

Strange. Don't get me wrong, I would struggle to muster a snowball but we have a decent dusting and still seeing snow. And only about 5 miles north

Just been unlucky with the heavier bursts I guess! Still dandruffing at the moment though, 24 hours of this and might get to a cm rofl.gif
