I'd like to see the skies clear this evening to allow for a hard frost but looking at the satellite picture this is looking unlikely.

Shame the models have shifted the snow tomorrow further east so our region is unlikely to get any significant falls.

A shift westwards is urgently needed!

Temp dropping again now down to 1.4c occasional snizzle

maybe if the Heat Island effect meets the very cold air mass it would possibly pep up the snow showers.

Sad that the winds are calmed down.

Just built a small snowman with my son will put a pic up after when my phones got a bit mor

This was our snow yesterday afternoon, some has melted. I'm in the centre of manchester today and there is hardly anything! Slight thaw back at mine, but temp was 0c when I left at midday.
