Before Christmas I treated myself to a new snow shovel from Tesco and paid £4 for the privilege.

Been in today and the same snow shovels are £6.

Didn't know inflation was running that high.

Anyway as the motto goes, EVERY LITTLE HELPS.

Only trouble is though that it normally only helps them.

Mind you it is still snowing here and if it carries on at this rate I may need it.

By March.

Not that surprising considering how mild the winter has been up to the last few days.

They are quite hardy but if they've any sense they will go back to bed for another few weeks.

Snizzle is dying back to the other side of the pennines, not expecting much now, time to let those dogs enjoy the snow in the hills...

It's still coming down lightly here but the radar picture you added showed that perfectly.

I think your right though that the end is in site for this activity although I said the same over an hour ago and it seemed to per up again.

I thought bbc weather showed snow over us overnight but it showed clear skies instead! nice. Going to be very icy here overnight tonight with low of -7C to -10C tonight. It be icicles forming overnight.

very little melting here. It is quite hard to notice it.
