Everyone should just email their work now and say they're not going to be able to make it in !

Tuesday looking increasingly interesting followed by GFS out to here and Scotland retains cold uppers.

Cloud's stuck around all day. No more snow and that thin cover's disappeared but to be fair it wasn't very much in the first place. All eyes to tomorrow now

Or even better - find jobs where you can play work outside!

Small amounts of snizzle here on & off all day but the ground is bone dry. Sublimation. I think everyone should try it once, especially D Cameron & co.

Wind could be a factor to tomorrow too as someone said on a previous post

Most of us will have gusts of 40mph turning out to blizzard like conditions

No melt the day, snaw all intact. Waiting on the fun and games overnight.

Aye Mondy, could be the first of a few late nights watching the radar.

Loving the GFS for this depiction of the infamous streamer later in the week in the wee small hours..

The slower it movesthe better. It means we could get 24 hours of falling snow. Usual BBC forecast shows no snow for the 15 mile strip between the forth and clyde valley. LOL we shall see!drinks.gif

There's a fair bit of activity coming up through the Forth just now - temps are just about there and dp is below freezing - so given I'm now a confirmed Vampire, I'll be glued to the radar.

As long as it doesn't smell of garlic, I'll be fine...

Same here Snowlover2, some piccys here from earlier today on The Braids Golf Course AKA snowbowl ...about 10 minutes up the road on the car from here.

Forgetting how cold it can be even on days like this I took a Mars bar out my jacket pocket. Sharing it out with By-Tor junior and his pal, it snapped in half like toffee.

I'm being greedy now and hoping that the cold spell can just about keep the resort open until next weekend so we can do it again !

I like your answer. Just been out sledging with kids and having snowball fights. Soooo much fun!!

Was in the big smoke today and had a few little sleet showers, nothing to get too worried about. Temp in the breeze feels bitter.

Back home and i'm off oot to shut up the chickens in their coop, could be a chilly night.

So all the forecasts for my office tomorrow near the coast is of sleet tomorrow between 6am and 12noon then back to snow and much the same for Tues. I'm thinking more likely snow? Uppers look better, what are temps like?
