It's definitely more than that kerry! I've been watching it all morning out of my Window we passed a Kentimetre ages ago lol

I didn't want to be accused of exaggerating, plus I couldn't be bothered to go out. Seems to be coming down a bit harder again now.,

Very fine snow in Bexleyheath, giving a covering. Is there any chance of the flakes getting bigger and the fall getting heavier? Or is this going to be another event like Friday, as in snowing all day but only getting 1-2cm?

temp -0.1 snowing steadily in petts wood/locksbottom borders.

hope this continues for at least next 6 hours!!

BBC still showing threat of snow for Hampshire,Surrey,Kent and South London tomorrow late afternoon!!.Marginal but possible.Would need cold temps in place tonight as it could be a sleet/wet snow event if things weren't just right.Needs watching over next 12hrsblum.gifgood.gifacute.gif

Latest models have moved this feature south west, won't be marginal as colder uppers but much less precip only light showers

Hi, Herne Bay (extreme east coast) has light snow when is the main part of the front expected. Met O give heavy snowfall for us here - Is that still the case? How long is it anticipated to last before we lose it to say Norfolk areas, NE etc?

Don't know whether its me, but in Bexley it seems already better than Friday. Agree we need larger flakes to make it more interesting.

Cracking exchange on twitter last night - Really good to see our gritters have a sense of humor.

Gritting Kent â€@GrittingKent

There is heavy snow due tomorrow so we have treated all primary and secondary routes and will be out and about throughout the day and night.

â€@gautey

@GrittingKent after buying my own grit & gritting my path & the road outside my house, your gritter came past and layed some more, #typical

Gritting Kent â€@GrittingKent

@gautey can you not sweep yours back up and try and get a refund? :-)
