Roads now treacherous outside Tunbridge Wells

I hope the roads are not too bad tomorrow.

Fine snow here falling on 6 inches we had on friday.

My ideal snow everywhere but not on the roads !

Just seen BBC 24 and snow for Surrey,Kent and South London seems to have gonecray.giffor tomorrow!!

However,Tomasz said wintry weather could appear anywhere over next 2/3 days so i think it is a case of keep monitoring things. One thing for sure,it is going to remain cold/very cold at least till Tuesday with very little thawing of snow!!blum.gif

The snow is fine due to it being powdery, this is because it's much colder and it introducing a continental flow, you can get some bigger falls from this than bigger flakes.

Fair enough, thanks for the explanation! :)

Morning! Radar looks exciting but here in Kingston it's kind of a fine sleety snizzle...

Very fine here in Surbiton too but settling nicely. Kingston riverside yesterday was great for snowballs, so should be nicely topped up now:)

Still steady as you like here. Last visible blades of grass all but gone now which is always my benchmark for a decent fall.

Yeah it seemed odd because about hour or so ago I saw a forecast, perhaps old. Showed a bit of snow popping up from South tomorrow. Hasn't heard much else about than on here.
