MrsB28 3cm would no doubt shut the school

No not this school, in 2010 the head waited till it was about 8cm before it closed, it was the only school open in Essex I think!

Plenty to come.

The head of the band moving WNW.

The straight lobe through C.France should move more NNW through more eastern parts and the N.Sea later.

Lol I wouldnt have thought that much could push 6 out of this which would bring on the crass to 15CM good.gif

I live in the wrong part of Surrey lol. Thought with elevation Epsom Downs would get battered but it's about 4/5 on the Murr scale

Last night had a low over the south east which has now gone :-(

Now there is a small low very close to essex and kent.

My eye is drawn at present to tomorrow ,and more especially tuesday night-wednesday.

Update later

Heavier castor sugar falling

Where's my cake :-)

is this gonna stay as dust mate or might we get bigger flakes later

Thanks for that, but I can't look at a fax chart now without seeing that chap on last night's 1962/3 black and white film with his high tech state-of-the-art synoptic charts on pieces of cardboard! :)

temp -0.1 snowing steadily in petts wood/locksbottom borders.

hope this continues for at least next 6 hours!!

BBC still showing threat of snow for Hampshire,Surrey,Kent and South London tomorrow late afternoon!!.Marginal but possible.Would need cold temps in place tonight as it could be a sleet/wet snow event if things weren't just right.Needs watching over next 12hrsblum.gifgood.gifacute.gif

Had an interesting drive back from harpenden to Dartford this morning, outside lane of the M25 was slowly disappearing in Essex and the bridge was down to 3 lanes although I think this voluntary. In Dartford we seem to have got around 1cm since we left last night.

Temp -1.3

Dew point -2.6

It's not in Grays or Chafford don't worry :) , I have to drive him it's in Stanford le Hope, that's why it's even more dodgy if I have to drive there in the morning :/
